BLUE RIBBON PROTECTION PLAN

Estes Oil Blue Ribbon Protection Plan provides you with total heating protection up to and including replacement of a complete boiler, hot water heater or hot air furnace, and oil tanks.  Customers covered under this plan need not to worry about additional unforeseen heating costs throughout the year.  Our plans cover emergency calls, replacement of defective parts, an annual clean out to your system and all labor associated.

ANNUAL CLEANING TO INCLUDE:

• Vacuum Cleaning boiler,(furnace) to chimney connector
• Changing of oil filter, pump strainer, nozzle, air filter (once per year)
• Test of all oil Burner controls
• Lubricate motor bearings
• Test fire oil burner to make for proper operation
• An efficiency test of insure optimum operations efficiency

PLUS!.........Repairs or Replacement of any of the following:

• Boiler, Furnace, indirect hot water heater
• Up to a 550 above ground indoor tank
• Burners including transformer, motor, pump, coupling and fan, electrodes, nozzle assembly and end cone, combustion chamber, circulator, zone value, thermostats switching relays, flow checks, aquastats, high and low limit controls, low water cut off, boiler feed, back flow preventers, relief valve and mixing values
• Blower motor and blower fan

BLUE RIBBON A/C COOLING SUMMER PLAN

Our A/C Cooling Summer Plan covers the annual maintenance and repair of one central air conditions unit.  This plan includes:

• Check of refrigerator charges
• Check pressure levels
• Check line set connections
• Check condenser blower motor and fan
• Clean debris from fan and coils
• Replace A/C filters once per year
• Check condensate lines, connections and drain pans
• Check fan belts for normal wear and tear

By neglecting your air conditioning system, you can lose approximately 5% of its efficiency each year if not properly maintained.  Enroll in this plan you will be assured that your unit will be routinely maintained. General Terms and Conditions do Apply.

TOTAL PROPANE COMFORT PLAN

Our total Propane Comfort gives you the same security as our Blue Ribbon Protection Plan but for your Gas system instead. This plan includes an annual tune up with test of all safety controls, adjustments of ignitions system, replacement of air filters, lubrication of motors, full vacuum, check for air leaks around combustion chambers, adjustment of burner, and inspection of tanks and regulators. 

PLUS:  Repairs or replacements of the following:  Boiler, Furnace, Indirect hot water heater, burners including transformers, motor, pump, coupling, fan, combustion chambers, circulators, zone values, standard thermostats, switching relays, flow checks, aquastats, high and low limit controls, pilot assembly, flame senor, gas valve, igniter, blower motor and blower fan.

Heating Oil Tanks typically corrode from the inside out.  Your tank may look perfectly fine from the outside but it could be wearing dangerously thin.  The testing (similar to a medical ultrasound) will allow us to give you a sense of security – or plenty of warning that a problem is on the horizon.  If your tank is determined to be in need of a replacement at any time in the future, the Tanksure Program warranty will cover up to $1000 towards replacement costs. 

Estes Oil now includes tank testing with your annual cleaning.  Once on the program, we annually bill you for $39.95.

BLUE RIBBON GENERAL CONDITIONS

1.  To be eligible for Estes Oil Blue Ribbon Protection Plan you must purchase your yearly oil supply from Estes Oil Burner Service Inc and be an automatic delivery customer.  2 Your heating equipment can not have a firing rate over 2.5 gallons per hour. 3.  Must be inspected by one of our technicians and must meet or exceed all State of Maine Codes and receive an efficiency rating at or above 80%. 4.  Plan goes into effect once inspection is approved and will be automatically renewed with payment due 30 days from billing unless either party provides in writing a desire to cancel contract.  All contracts are for one year and non-refundable and non transferable.  5.  Estes Oil will not be responsible for system damage due to frozen pipes, flooded basements, loss of electricity, switch in off position, fire, other acts of God, lack of oil, customer’s not on automatic delivery or when account is in delinquent status, replacement of antifreeze not covered under this plan or thermostats turned below room temperature.  6. Under oil tank coverage, we will only cover tanks installed in a basement or garage.  To receive coverage of any outside above ground tank up to 550 gallons capacity you must purchases an additional tank sure program.  7.  Under this plan, we are not responsible for oil lines running from the tank to the heating equipment and are not responsible for any environmental damage from leaking tanks, oil lines, pump seals or motors.  We will not be liable for contamination of soil, other property damage, or personal injury.  We are not responsible for the removal or required to handle any asbestos or equipment contained with asbestos. 8 Programmable thermostats are not covered by this plan.  9. Plumbing and Electrical wiring that is not part of the heating system, humidifiers, A/C, chimney maintenance, or duct work is not covered.  11. No other piping, radiation, or labor to install is covered under this plan. 12. Alarm equipment attached to heating system is not covered under this plan. Non Emergency Service calls will not be covered following after normal working hours. 13. This plan does not cover the replacement of a defective power vent unit or its components. 14. We are responsible for actual repair, replacement, or maintenance of heating oil system itself, at our discretion. 15. This plan is intended to cover your heating system itself under normal usage. 16. Any unauthorized work performed on equipment other than by our own technicians voids this contract plan.

EMERGENCY SERVI CE  is defined as follows: 1.  No heat during a time which heat is required for safe occupancy of the home.  2. Failures of parts covered under this plan that causes the heating unit to shut down on safety. 3. Anything affecting the safety of occupants living in the house. 4. Lack of hot water. 5. Or at the discretion of an Estes Oil Employee.  All other non-emergency calls will be completed during normal business hours.  Estes Oil will come out for a non-emergency call after normal business hours but reserves the right to charge the customer if considered a non-emergency call.  Estes Oil will attempt to contact customers with this plan to schedule annual service however, it is the customers responsibility to see that the service is scheduled.

TANKSURE PROTECTON PLAN GENERAL CONDITIONS.  1.  The oil tank must be inspected by our technicians for any existing leaks.  2. This plan covers one, up to 330 gallons, above ground oil tank that is leaking due to normal usage or excessive rusting. 3.  Any attachments or existing piping such as oil filters, oil line, fill pipes, whistles, tank gauge, etc. are not included in the tank replacement. 4.  Estes Oil will not be liable for contamination of soil, other property damage, or personal injury. 5.  Estes Oil is not responsible for replacing oil that is in the tank or that has escaped due to the leak. 6.  This plan goes into effect once payment is received and will be automatically renewed with payment due 30 days from billing unless either party provides in writing a desire to cancel contract. 7. In addition, the Tanksure Program provides in writing a corrosion protection device, tank testing service and the Tanksure Limited Warranty.  An ultrasonic tank testing will be formed by our technician before your tank can be accepted for enrollment.  While we cannot guarantee the prevention of a leak or other failure of your tank, we are providing theses new services with the hope that by testing and monitoring, we are providing these new services with the hope that by testing and monitoring, we are offering a long-term proactive tank replacement program for our customer.  We recommend that an annual test of your fuel tank be performed.  If a tank leak occurs due to corrosion the company will pay up to $1,000 towards the replacement of your tank in accordance with the terms of the TankSure Limited Warranty.  A Warranty Certificate will be provided to you upon request.  All contracts are for one year and are non-refundable and non transferable.

A/C COOLING SUMMER PLAN GENERAL CONDITIONS: 1. To be eligible for Estes Oil A/C Cooling Summer Plan you must purchase your yearly oil or propane supply form Estes Oil and be on an automatic delivery.2.  To qualify for this plan our technicians must inspect and pass your system and everything must be to State of Maine Code.  3. Plan goes into effect once inspection is approved and will be automatically renewed with payment due 30 days from billing unless either party provides in writing  a desire to cancel contract. Plan covers on A/C unit.  All contracts are for one year and are nonrefundable and nontransferable. 4. Estes Oil will not be responsible for system damage due to floods, loss of electricity, switches being in off position, fires, other acts of God, or when account is in delinquent status. 5. This plan is strictly for maintenance and will not cover the replacement of any parts not listed above or replacement of the entire unit. 6. Any unauthorized work performed on equipment other than by our own technicians voids this contract plan. 7. All A/C calls under this plan with the exception of total system shutdown are considered non emergency service calls and will be scheduled during normal working hours.

To qualify a Gas Check must be performed by one of our technicians and must be installed to Maine State Code. 3. Plan goes into effect once inspection is approved and will be automatically renewed with payment due 30 days from billing unless either party provides in writing a desire to cancel contract.  All contracts are for one year and are nonrefundable and nontransferable. 4. Estes Oil will not be responsible for system damage due to frozen pipes, flooded basement, loss of electricity, switches being in off position, fires, other acts of God, lack of propane, customer not on automatic delivery or when account is in delinquent status. 5. Digital and programmable thermostats are not covered by this plan. 6.  Antifreeze is not covered under this plan. 7. Plumbing and electrical wiring that is not part of the heating system, humidifiers, chimney maintenance or duct work is not covered. 8. All replacement parts will be of like kind and quality and subject to availability. 9. No other piping or radiation or labor to install is covered by this plan. 10. We are responsible for the actual repair, replacement, or maintenance of the heating equipment itself at our discretion. Replacement of antifreeze is not covered under this plan. This plan is intended to cover your heating system itself under normal usage.  11. Any unauthorized work performed on equipment other than by our own technicians voids this contract plan. 12. We are not responsible for removal or required to handle any asbestos or equipment contained with asbestos. !3. Any non emergency service calls will be scheduled during normal working hours. 14. Damages caused by generators are not covered.
